This Privacy Policy explains how Helloapps Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “us”) handles information in the Field SFA platform, including the Field Pro mobile app and the web dashboard (together, the “Service”).
Field SFA is a business tool used by distribution companies (“Customers”) to manage their field sales teams. Most data in the Service is entered by our Customers and their employees (“Users”) in the course of their work, and the Customer is the controller of that data.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, email, phone number and role, used to sign in and scope access.
- Location data — the app records GPS coordinates when a User checks in to a visit, records an order or payment, creates a customer or lead, and during shift attendance (including in the background while a shift is active). Location is used to verify field activity and is tied to the User’s work records.
- Camera / photos — photos captured for visit surveys, payment proof, customer and lead creation, and expense receipts.
- Device information — a device identifier and model, used to bind an account to its device and secure sign-in.
- Business records — visits, orders, payments, attendance, leads and form responses entered by Users.
How we use information
We use this information to provide and secure the Service, sync field activity to the Customer’s dashboard, prevent fraud and misuse, and provide support. We do not sell personal information.
Background location
The Field Pro app collects location in the background only while a work shift is active, so that a Customer can see field reps’ activity during working hours. Background collection stops when the shift ends or the User signs out.
Sharing
Business data is visible to the User’s own organization (their Customer) according to role. We share data with infrastructure providers that host the Service on our behalf, and where required by law. We do not share personal data for advertising.
Data retention
We retain data for as long as the Customer’s account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period.
Your choices
Users can disable location permissions in their device settings (which limits field features). For access, correction or deletion requests, contact your organization’s administrator or email us at tharun@helloapps.io.
Children
The Service is a workplace tool and is not directed to children under 16.
